NEW INITIATIVES IN THE STATES WE SERVE

IN MISSOURI, CUSTOMERS HAVE A NEW WAY TO SUPPORT SOLAR

In 2016, regulators approved a community solar pilot that provides options for customers to choose and create customized energy generation portfolios that match their interests in solar energy. It will offer the opportunity for customers who want to support solar, but cannot or do not want to install private solar infrastructure on their own homes.

IN ILLINOIS, ENERGY REDUCTIONS CAN REAP REWARDS

Ameren Illinois’ Peak Time Rewards® is a newer program that pays customers back for using less electricity. When demand for energy is high, customers have the opportunity to earn bill credits for proactively reducing their usage. Participation helps their neighbors, their community and the environment by reducing peak electricity usage. There is no cost to participate.
